Chatuchak Park

History

This public park opening since 4 december 1981. The start point is State Railway of Thailand dedicate area to King Rama 9 for celebrate King birthday 4th loop on 5 december 1975 and the King Rama 9 bestow upon this garden name on 8 january 1986 as “Chatuchak Park”

Chatuchak Park highlight

Chatuchak park is the center of unity from variety people who know the important of green area to relax and save environment. The memorial of that theme still stand on the Chatuchak park is time tower, flower time and the asean sculpture by 6 countries. All memorial is the logo for Chatuchak park now.

Today Chatuchak park is the paradise for health lover ….in the Bangkok city where you can walk and run in the shade of tree following the path you will see literature garden, herb garden and the fish bridge..or you can relax by row the boat or take boat bicycle in the pond also make an exercise in the exercise zone. People come here around 7,000 and for weekend or government holiday is about 30,000 per day.
